Revel Stoke Pineapple Whisky

Revel Stoke Roasted Pineapple Whisky was just released. It joins a whisky lineup that includes Spiced, Cinnamon, Pecan, Apple, and their Original Blended Canadian Whisky. They also created a seasonal Pumpkin Spiced Whisky. Revel Stoke is made with a blend of rye, corn, and barley malt that is triple distilled in copper stills. The whisky is aged for 3 years in charred white oak barrels. Natural roasted pineapple flavors are infused before bottling at 70 proof.The aroma is pineapple, sweet corn and whisky. The sweet pineapple preserve entry builds to a juicy sugar sweetened pineapple peak. It fades with a warm peppery sting with a hint of caramel. The heat and whisky flavor increase slightly on the finish. Revel Stoke Roasted Pineapple is the first pineapple flavored whisky, and while I was a little concerned how the whisky and pineapple flavors would mix, I can now say this will not be the last, as the flavors mix well together.
