This terrific tipple was distilled right when everyone realised that the year 2000 might actually happen, and left to age in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks for quarter of a century before being bottled at 43% ABV. The distillers in the Highlands figured that a whisky as smashing as this needed a rather handsome bottle too, which is always a treat. In his Whisky Bible 2017, Jim Murray gave this a massive 94 points (earning a Liquid Gold Award), and also took home a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2017!~ Master of Malt
