Teeling 18 Year Old - The Renaissance Series 4

This right here is the fourth release in Teeling's Renaissance Series, which celebrates the return of distilling in Dublin and Irish whiskey's renaissance. It's an 18 year old single malt whiskey, which has enjoyed a rather interesting finishing period – it spent 18 months resting in Pineau des Charentes casks! If you're not familiar with it, Pineau des Charentes is a French fortified wine made with grape juice or must, blended with Cognac. It's brilliantly vibrant and fruity, and those elements have made their way into this ace single malt! ~ Master of Malt
